StrIt comes standard with 210 pounds of real Power Rod resistance (which can be upgraded to 310 or 410 pounds with optional additional Power Rods). The integrated lat tower with angled lat bar helps to build back and shoulder muscles quickly. Efficient and easy to use, the leg attachment connects easily, and can be removed in seconds for using the squat station. The Xtreme XTLU utilizes Bowflex's patented Power Rods, which provide resistance, or weight, that feels as good as or better than free weights--but without the inertia or risk of joint pain usually associated with free weights. You can hook one, two, three, four or all of your Power Rod units to the cable pulley system and go from as little as 5 pounds all the way up to 210 pounds of resistance. They're precisely manufactured from a high-tech composite material under the highest quality control measures, then sheathed and tested 4 separate times to ensure quality and durability. The Power Rod units are so strong, you can flex them repeatedly but you won't be able to wear them out. In fact, they're so strong, Bowflex backs them with its No-Time-Limit Warranty free replacement offer. In addition to improving strength, power, coordination, and muscular endurance, weight training can enhance weight reduction, enhance the immune and cardiovascular systems, and help prevent injuries. In general, home gym machines are compact units designed to strengthen and exercise many parts of the body.

bowflex xtreme xtlu exercise manual, bowflex xtreme xtlu exercise manual pdf, bowflex xtreme xtlu exercise manual download, bowflex xtreme xtlu exercise manual free, bowflex xtreme xtlu exercise manual instructions.

While no single home gym can provide a complete strength training solution, they are a convenient way to combine many exercises into a single unit. Some home gyms focus exclusively on upper-body workouts, while other, more advanced units focus on upper- and lower-body conditioning. TeacherSP 5.0 out of 5 stars I finally bought this system after several years of getting out of shape. I finally bought the Bowflex -- after reading many positive reviews. First: Shipping was very fast -- it came in about 8 days. Putting it together was surprisingly easy. Lots of parts but very straightforward -- took maybe an hour and a half -- just me. It fits great in a basement -- I got the space. I started doing a few exercises and I thought it felt very similar to free weights -- at least in terms of getting a real workout. You can push yourself all the way - no danger. Even my 4 year old likes it. One thing I like, as opposed to weights -- it is SILENT. No clanging or banging. You can do a wide variety of exercises and they give you a booklet that shows you the exercises and even a DVD with the guy doing it and explaining proper form. Also a poster for easy reference. There are several attachments for dead lifts, or barbell like curls.

I'm very excited to start getting back into shape and I'm sure my 2 sons will use it as they get older. I probably won't max out the 210 lb limit -- I'm over 170 lbs.Overall, it's a solid machine. It looks like something you'd see in a commercial gym. I have no doubt it can help you get toned or build muscle. Maybe those cheaper machines can do the same thing. I thought Amazon's price plus free shipping was worth the investment. My guess is this particular model will do almost everything the latest Xtreme can do which is selling for a few hundred dollars more. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to build muscle but doesn't want to go to a gym or wants to lift without a spotter and risk injury. For everyone else -- and I'm talking about 99% of the population - very good machine. You'll want to keep a vacuum handy to suck up all the little styrofoam bits that stick to anything and everything via static electricity. Fabrication of the XTLU is pretty darn good, (I work as a structural steel estimator, project manager, so I know what good fabrication is all about) as all the bolts holes lined up as they should and assembly went pretty well. There were a couple of threaded holes that needed to be cleaned of metal shavings in order to get the bolts started. The instructions were very good until I got to the leg extension, which is fabricated differently from the pictures and is not assembled as a unit. The other problem with the instruction book is the fact that nowhere does it show you how to route the cables or which cables to use where. I went to the DVD to see how they went, but it's not totally definitive on the video either. I will add to my review after using it for a few weeks. I have used my BowFlex for about a year now. I find it hard to get a regular work-out schedule going, but typically I use it 2-3 times a week. I haven't lost any weight but certainly feel better when I work out, even as irregular as I do.

One thing is certain, you're not going to get a body like the models on their commercials by working out three times a week for 20 minutes at a time. I am in my 50's and getting into shape takes dedication and grit. I used to use a Total Gym (and got pretty nice results) but due to Arthritis in my wrists had to give that up. The BowFlex is easy on the joints and after a pretty healthy work-out I don't have joint soreness nor do I have much, if any, muscle soreness. It's weakest point is the leg extension, it pivots on a bolt and needs some kind of a bushing to make it work smoothly. It will probably be the first thing to generate a problem, but it will be an easy fix by just replacing the bolt. One other problem is that every once in awhile the cables slip between the pulley housings and bind up. I took a pair of Cahnnel Locks and squeezed the gauge material togther but it still happens on oaccasion.Every screw and bolt lined up perfectly during assembly, and there are a number of them. One 30 lb rod snapped the first time I used it, but Fitness Warehouse promptly replaced it. Their customer service is top rate. This type of system takes some getting used to since you are constantly changing cables and pulleys, but on a weight bench you are also constantly changing the weights. Once you get accustomed to using this system you will begin to love it. Top quality and a good all around weight training system. The system was not too bad to set up. The toughest part was just making sure the right cable went in the right place, but once that was done, everything else was a snap. The basic workout fits my schedule pretty well and once you figure out each exercise initially and the best order to do them in, the system is easy to use. I really don't have any complaints at this point and I enjoy using the machine. It will probably take awhile to get through all the different workouts offered, but I think I'll be using this gym for years to come.

Disclaimer: Sedo maintains no relationship with third party advertisers.
